May was a hectic month! Dalton and I went with his class to the Tennessee Aquarium. We had a great day and I took some pictures. Vannah celebrated her last day of preschool with a picnic at school. She will be heading to kindergarten in August.<br /><br />The school had there annual Homecoming. The Cub Scouts set up a Krispy Kreme donut stand and it was a great success. We sold donuts again the next day at Walmart. We did ok there but ended up with 60 boxes left. On the next day we had our final Cub Scout pack meeting for the year. Dalton and I both received our 4 year pins. He has one more step to go and then he can cross over into the Boy Scouts. We ended the meeting with everyone taking what was left of the donuts. Stevie and I sold some of the boxes, but the rest of them I froze. I think I had close to 8 boxes of donuts and they are almost gone.<br /><br />Dalton had an awards ceremony at school and received several certificates including A Honor Roll for the year and The Most Interested in Everything. His teacher was so impressed with his knowledge of everything.<br /><br />Our final trip was to Lake Winnie. It is an amusement park in Chattanooga. The local scouts sponsor the trip every year. This year Vannah and Stevie went along. We didn't leave this year until the park closed. I was so exhausted. Everyone fell asleep on the way home. Stevie had Dalton and 2 other boys in his truck and I had Vannah, Sam and her boyfriend. Dalton came home and went straight to bed.<br /><br />So the summer has started and the fun begins. We are planning a trip to Florida next week. I haven't seen Granny in 3 years and I'm looking forward to seeing her and the rest of the family.<br /><br />I'll update when I get back. I'm glad that's done! I have new tax day resolution - I will input all receipts on a monthly basis so I'm not rushed in the end. I promise! I've set up a spreadsheet to do this so it will be easier to do next year.<br />Anyway, I haven't posted in a while and thought I would share some of my pages since the last post. I've gotten quite a few done. I've even done some paper pages. I've been a good girl! I've been scanning in a lot of Mama's old photos so I should have some new pages done soon. I've found pictures I've never seen before. I finally have DSL. Wohoo! I'm so happy. I've discovered digital scrapbooking and found that downloading the kits took too long. My solution was DSL. I'll be posting my pages here as I get them done.<br /><br />This has been a long day and it is only 2 pm. Savannah got up at 5:15 this morning wide awake. She went to sleep at 7 pm last night. Way early for her. I hope she goes to bed on time tonight. I hate early wake-ups.<br /><br />Let's see, other things going on are a search for a present for Dalton's birthday. He reminds me everyday how many days are left until his birthday.
